Dr. Kevin James is president of Morris Brown College, an Atlanta HBCU with a rich history. 20 years ago, the institution was given the death penalty after an administrator was caught mismanaging federal financial aid money. Over the past 20 years, Morris Brown has been kept alive functioning at a limited capacity, until now. Dr. Kevin James took over nearly two years ago, on a mission to bring back this great school in its true form. Through incredible national fundraising initiatives with big names and refocusing back to Morris Brown's true roots, Dr. James has brought this school back. Jim and Dr. James discuss the journey of what it has taken for Morris Brown to rise from the ashes and receive its re-accreditation almost 20 years after losing it.
